Section 001 was collaborative studio focused on re-imagining the creative workspace through furniture. I contributed to research, helped define our collective narrative and aesthetic, and designed a couch.&#38;nbsp;

Using our school’s Communications Design studios as a case study, we began with research of the studio culture

	Me and my partner, Jasper Cohen, began to design a couch based around mobility and facilitating breakouts, keeping in mind our inability do upholstery.

Work is Play was a group installation at OTOT Studios, showcasing student design work. 


	&#38;nbsp;I curated and organized this show to give a voice
to students designing objects that are the result of material experiments,
engagement with sculpture, discursive and/or speculative methodologies. This show was based around the archetype of a work desk with office products. This contrasted the job description of “product designer” with the responbility of the designer to create objects inspiring critical inquiry and sparking joy.

This vessel was an excuse for me to experiment with scrap granite I had collected from a counter-top store dumpster. The granite was water jet cut, then attached with dyed urethane resin.
